Academy Award® and Golden Globe® winner Renée Zellweger delivers a dazzling performance as showbiz legend Judy Garland. Thirty years after rising to global stardom in THE WIZARD OF OZ, Garland arrives in London to perform a five-week sold-out run at The Talk of the Town. While preparing for the shows, Garland battles with management, reminisces with friends and adoring fans, and embarks on a whirlwind romance with soon-to-be fifth husband Mickey Deans — all while bravely struggling to overcome intensifying anxiety and physical decline. Featuring some of her best-known songs, the film celebrates the unyielding spirit and matchless talent of “the world’s greatest entertainer.”

  • Holy crap Renee.

    She nailed it.
  • Depressing

    By App~Guru
The movie is really depressing and only highlights the negatives of a moment in time for Judy Garland. The acting is good, but I couldn’t sit thru this movie again, it’s just way to depressing. Rent it, don’t buy it.
  • Renee is Superb in this Film

It’s a sad the way Judy Garland’s life unfolded in her later years but Renee was excellent in this film. She deserves awards for this film which was not seen by many at the time of release.
  • Excellent Actress, dry and boring film

I saw this in theaters and I’ve never had the feeling of walking out during a film before now. This movie was a practice in patience and endurance as it was simply a string of horrible things happening with no real substance or lesson learned. It SHOULD’VE been excellent with the kind of story being told here and the ACTRESS...MY GOODNESS. Renée Zellweger was excellent in this role but as I said the movie went nowhere...slowly. I suppose my problem is that things would happen...one after another...but you don’t really feel the punch from these events. Could’ve been better written so that when things happen there are noticeable consequences of those events and a connection to everything throughout. It was like, what depressing, heart wringing thing can we put her through on screen? Okay great, no follow up to that...what OTHER depressing, heart wringing thing can we put her through next? Let’s make her a trainwreck, slightly humorous waif that will puppy dog eyes the audience through the whole movie. Oh man, I can smell the Oscar. I don’t even gotta look but I’m pretty sure a man directed this cause how else you can you explain not knowing how to express the trauma of these events that Judy went through?
  • Awful Oscar grab by Zellwigger

Terrible portrayal of Judy Garland. This was Renee Zellwigger overacting narcissistically. She did not capture Judy Garland in any way, shape or form. Pathetic and hard to watch. Sad because this could have been a wonderful homage to the tragic life of beloved Hollywood Star.
  • Judy Negative

    By Rybo888
This movie was so very disappointing. Almost no music and singing. All tragedy and woe is me. Constant negativity and really poor acting to boot. One star is probably generous. Do yourself a favor and watch and actual movie Judy stared in back in the day.
  • Incredibly touching ❤️

She’s a legend, larger than life. This glimpse into a small part of her last years , is incredibly well done, acted and I cried my eyes out at the end. A woman with a heart of gold and not a cent in her pocket. Oscar material 💕💋🌹🌈💜
