The most boring premise to a movie.
Not the Unrated Director's Cut

Love the Saw franchise but this version of Saw is NOT the Unrated Director's Cut. Aside from the differences in a few scenes, the main giveaway is the music at the end credits. The Director's Cut plays the Saw Theme by Charlie Clouser...the Theatrical version plays "Bite the Hand That Bleeds You" by Fear Factory. I haven't checked 2 through 8 yet to see if they are indeed Unrated Director's Cuts or not. Kinda dissappointing. I bought this collection to upgrade my 720p Unrated verions of Saw to 1080p...only to find out the first movie in the bunch isn't Unrated.

I really love this movie. The franchise is great and so is the ending. I hope Adam didn’t actually die though. I recommend ⚙️

I got so mad at the beginning that the key went down the drain. I noticed that right away. That pig mask dude was epic. Really scary. And I think I shed a tear. I just feel like spitting at the guy that did that to them.
This movie is good and ok

I will admit when I first heard about Saw, I was skeptical. But this film's plot, characters, and yes the traps. were great! Well made, ecspically for the low budget they had! Great film, Great story line. Need I say more? Two words : Tobin Bell. Yet another great actor that hepls this film excel. You will enjoy this and more of Jigsaw's Games later to come!
-Game over

What makes the original SAW so great is how everything works together: the story, the action, the pacing--everything. So it was no surprise that it was very well received despite only a 40-something rating on Rotten Tomatoes. If you like horror, don't let the critics fool you, this is a great film and series.
