I Really like the 1st one I LOVED the 2nd one I also really liked the 4th one the last key but this one is eh like the demon petting her like what is that? This one is COMPLETELY different 3 stars because I like how it goes to the begging and I like where the story takes place also so jump scares that got me and the demon looked really scary but overall it was eh alright I guess not the same at all compared to the first one NOTHING like the second one and not like the fourth one ( The last key )

This one is billed as "the darkest chapter," which is true if, they referring to the cinematography. However, it's the least frightening of the 3 films. Full of silly predictable jump scares, James Wan is sadly missed as the director. His style is what really gave the first two that creepy vintage horror feel. I didn't care for the stupid Elise back story, nobody cares about her. Specs & Tucker are back and annoying as ever. Overall 🙄😴👎🏻👎🏻

Too slow, too dark, and too predictable.

Out of all the movies I've seen of insidious, this is over all the scariest one. Tip: Don't have the volume up lol and don't watch it alone
