  • Best season....compared to the last

Season 11 was a definite notch up from the previous season 10. Season 11 was what season 10 should of been in terms of monster of the week stories. MoTW were pretty much solid throughout. You got a bit of everything: a fast paced one, emotional one, classic case file, a creepy think twice episode, and even a crazy, funny, bizarre heartfelt one. It was fantastic. Sadly, as usual, the mythology brought the quality of the season & show down. Greatly. I don’t know what Carter was thinking ..or smoking. As a long time fan, you just have to do what this creator has done and pick & choose what did or did not happen. Despite the mythology heavily weighing down the season, I will give it full stars just because of how much I’ve enjoyed the standalone episodes. Keep the iconic duo in your hearts the way you know them best and ignore the rest.

This is a great comeback for the series. The plot knows were it’s going and the director and writers are giving it their 110% and it shows. And the acting by our favorite cast is flawless. I just wished there would be more episodes. For those people that don’t seam to get it (storyline, plot, & theme) stick to your YouTube and social media, I’m sure you’ll fined something your speed.

Episode 1 was a rough start to this season, but episodes 2-10 were wonderful. A real gift to long-time fans of the show. All the humor and strangeness of seasons 1-7 were back, and it was glorious. Episode 2, 3, 4, 7, 9, & 10 were particularly wonderful. I've heard a lot of criticisms about this reboot online, but I can honestly say -- that this was one of my favorite seasons of the X-Files. The relationship between Mulder and Scully was at it's best in some ways. I'm really grateful that the show's creators, producers, and actors gave us this final season. It was such a better ending to this epic storyline than season 9, movie 2, or season 10. 4.5 stars!.
  • First and Last and in Between

The first episode gave us some of the worst writing I have ever seen. Did they hire an 11 year old to write it? I almost gave up, but the others were actually fun (well, one about living forever with endless amounts of blood was pretty bad). Then came the final one; it seems that they hired the 11 year old again. Just awful. Overall, I enjoyed most of the episodes.

Words can’t express the excitement and happiness brought, by giving fans more X File episodes.
  • A satisfying end to an iconic series

Before we reach the tense conclusion with the bittersweet end, the season that proceeds it includes scares, action (I don’t recall every seeing Fox kick so much butt before), satire, artificial intelligence humorously and then eerily run amok, a truly unsettling tale about a cursed town, an entire episode devoted to the Mandela Effect (google it guys, it’s an amusing theory), and that giga watt chemistry between Scully and Mulder on full display. There’s even a hint of possible spin off stories to tell if the network decides to go that route. But make no mistake, the tale of Dana and Fox does finally get closure. The final episode itself doesn’t hold all of the moments between the two of them that needed to be addressed, but rather every single episode of this possible final season explores and resolves another piece of their relationship and it culminates with a final revelation in the finale. As a fan since the pilot episode when it first aired, I can say this is finally the conclusion that many of us were concerned we would never see. It’s been a great trip over the decades, ups and downs and all.

All good things are gone, it is not entertaining anymore. Too many political statements, storyline is bazaar & there is no follow up, just some wild tangent that makes no sense, or is even at all interesting. I expect they will replace fox & Dana with a couple of teenie boppers, just to reach for another dollar. Don’t waste your money on the new xfiles.
  • Half the shows stunk. This is the last season for me.

This season was pretty bad. It only had a couple good episodes. With Gillian saying she won't be back and Chris saying he may continue anyway without her, I'm pulling the rip cord on the X Files at this point. It was hard enough getting through this season of bad ideas, I'm not returning to see replacement actors for the leads too. Chris where you under the weather when your wrote "This"? Because that episode would have been relevant in 1985. In 2017 it's severly dated, tame, lame and was a bore fest the whole way through. You can do better than this.
  • Worst season ever!

Only two good episodes that run off the first ten seasons. The other episodes are unrelated random baby town frolic stupidity. They better come up with something better for season 12 if they expect me to buy more. Buying the season 11 pass wasn’t worth it.. 👎
