It would be better if someone would turn on the lights, turn off the rain, stop whispering and put all the cigarettes out.

I love most tv shows and movies about ufo phenomenon. Being this show is based off real events is amazing. The acting and the setting is superb. Most shows and movies touch on the same things. Yes that’s true. Negative reviews saying this is the same ole same ole. Not true. The time this set, the actors, the stories are just perfectly put together. I cannot wait for season 2. In the beginning I thought it was just going to be people telling what they saw with short clips and terrible actors and that’s all. What we get is in fact testimonies set during the time they happened and with excellent actors. Completely made me forget I was in 2019 watching this. Amazing tv show.

Finally somebody has managed to match the quality of the story telling that X-files brought to bear more than 20 years ago but this time it is based on real events. Can’t wait for the next season. Please do not cancel the show - you’ve being doing amazing show. Keep it up!

This show is filmed beautifully. Acting is astounding. The idea of putting all of these famous investigations together and then forming a layered subplot to glue it together is exactly what I was hoping for. But... Why is it that every TV show is obligated to at the very least imply a ‘gay’ storyline? Now if Allen’s real wife was gay, then I suppose it would be accurate, but was she? If not, I hope that they go no further than they have in what they have ‘implied’ thus far. The whole ‘oh excuse me, why don’t you slip on over here honey and drive’ scene was just unbelievable! And then let’s go to a beat-nick- bar and watch two dudes groping each other was just as hilarious! Why? What was the point? Even the Mr and Mrs Hynek haven’t gone for it yet! Quit shoving PC down our throats all of the time! It BORING!!! Beyond that, well done!

Really nicely done plot, though side plots must be embellished (did Hynek ever see an alien preserved in a tank sneaking onto a base, or meet V. Braun?) and special effects, big name actors and guess what UFOs ARE REAL... ;)
  • Much Better Than Expected

I didn’t have high hopes for this as a commentator in the Ufology community, however, the quality of the writing, directing and production far exceeded my expectations. This is very watchable. If you’re looking for documentary quality break downs of cases, you’re in the wrong place- this is strictly entertainment with a few accurate references thrown in for the hardcore researchers and enthusiasts. In my opinion, this is the best treatment of the subject matter since The X-Files.
