  • IT HAS SOME POTENTIAL!

My favorite character is Victoria who makes the most out of her dialogue and scenes. Some actors obviously look nervous/uncomfortable in their scenes. I don't know how many times I've counted so many "ARE YOU SURE" and "THANK YOU" are repeated in almost every scene. Looks like the actors are at a lost for other words. I wish the writers could come up with more believable dialogues instead of having the actors repeat corny sentences and fillers.

The show is a great show and very captivating however it sort of makes mockery of the office of POTUS. It would’ve been more believable if the President performs more of his presidential duties rather than always sitting around the White House having sex.
  • Good but not great

I began watching this show after I saw an ad for it on tv and because I like political dramas such as House Of Cards, West Wing, Veep etc. The first season was okay but it fully introduced me to the plot and story of a mentally disturbed family with no apparent connections to U.S. politics or government who are somehow placed into high level positions of power as the President and First Lady. The couple Victoria and Hunter Franklin are both completely unfit to lead the country and spend most of their time having sex and affairs. Their 2 children (including the teenage son who comes out as a murderer in this season) are equally as bad and the Secret Service protection team (including Kyle who I think is a traitor and Sam who is sexually involved with first lady Victoria) I think is even worse! This season was pretty good. I’ve watched most of the episodes leading up to the mid season finale and I liked the plots and suspense of each one. I hope they will continue with this series.
