Most of Marines back from this hell ask this question. From far, war looks like a great adventure but the great brutality of the reality of war stunt knocked down everyone. Perhaps the hell is paradise in comparison of the hell of the war. This is the greatest series I ever seen.

I watched the entire series and it really was amazing. You will get your emotions tested with this mini series but it’s well worth the ride. It was well worth the price tag attached as well.

This is even better than Band of Brothers. A great generation, that along with us today, would not stand for the disrespect that is happeing to our flag right now. Apple periordically puts it on sale - thanks Apple.

The Pacific personifies the war with Japan better than any other representation. The brutality, the loss, and the people. It shows the effect of war on people, it's a a show that's not meant to be watched for watching it sake. It's meant to be experienced, to be a reminder, a lesson of sorts.

Could not ask for a better depiction of what those men went through. I am so thankful for the makers of this film that spent the time and money to show us what it was like back then.
