Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers… and her true destiny.

I have always loved Wonder Woman and what she represents. When the announcement of this film and cast was first brought to public attention, I was skeptical. I had never seen any of Gal’s or Patty’s work, but these two women are phenomenal. Gal does a beautiful job in capturing Wonder Woman as someone who can be both vulnerable and tough, compassionate and assertive, and emotional but stoic when needed. Gal has formed Wonder Woman into a character we recognize on the street, at home or anywhere else in our lives. Patty’s directing needs to also be applauded. Chris Pine’s character, Steve Trevor, was respectable as well. He wasn’t dumbed down to Diana’s sidekick / love interest. Wonderful cast. Wonderful plot. Wonderful movie.

This movie is great! I love it! But I thought it was kind of disturbing how Dr. Poison poisoned people with that gas (even tho that’s what they really did in the war), and Dr. Poison also looked kind of creepy. But other than that I loved the movie!

  • Worst acting and the most ridiculously stupid movie

This film has more plot holes than a sieve, yet somehow it totally holds water. Gal Gadot brings it. Each support protagonist is deeply human, with a questionable past, yet they move with purpose, and rise to heroic nobility as each comes to realize they are on a truly heroic quest battling gods and monsters to protect the innocent. There's no hand wringing. There's no self-indulgent abuse of power. And even though Diana's initial motivations were pre-programmed like a wind-up doll, her final choices were made as an informed adult. These are actual heroes, and I for one celebrate an actual super-hero in a super-hero film. And yes, it's one heck of a fun action flick that has won over every viewer who sat down ready to hate on it. Go make some popcorn, and enjoy.
  • One of the best DC films.

I don’t think it’s a flawless masterpiece like some say. But I really do like this movie. It’s really nice to have a solo female superhero movie that is actually good. The third act is a little wonky but hey. It’s really enjoyable.
  • Good movie

    I like it
