  • Good Fun

I’m what you’d call a “film snob”. I typically don’t get into these types of movies, but this thing works. Ritchie borrows/steals/pays homage from/to everything from Jaws (dialogue), Pale Rider (protagonist/Preacher), Usual Suspects (protagonist/Söze) and everything Leone and Tarantino have ever done while adding his own unique flair for what amounts to an absolutely wild ride of a movie showcasing some surprisingly startling acting. I was thoroughly entertained and often guffawed over some of the crazier scenes. Good enough for a rewatch.
  • Jason’s best so far

People expecting Jason doing the karate thing will be disappointed. But to me, this is Jason’s best acting job. And the story is very good, not a shoot em up movie, but good finale shoot out in the end. No, Jason is not “wooden,” but FOCUSED.

Good movie. Directed by Guy Ritchie. Statham is great in this. Action is great. Nice twists in the story.
  • Lighting too dark

    By John Quincy Mass.
Light helps us tell what’s going on. Maybe I am deficient in vitamin A for night vision. I need lights to help me see. Jason Statham is okay. There is suspense and twists so the ending is exciting. The lights are so dark and it reminds me of the movie Selma about Martin Luther King Jr. In “Selma,” the lighting was also too dark. In Wrath of Man the music is violins and pretty unsophisticated. It portrays combat veterans as criminals. While robbery movies are dark and strictly described greed as a motive. There are elements of John Wick: the immaterial and vengeance over mere money. Even criminals have value systems like loyalty or protecting children and women.
  • Really good

Not his typical action movie. Much more serious vibe to it all. Was pleasantly surprised.
  • Another Ritchie-Statham Banger

Solid all around- plot & action. The way the timeline is presented keeps u engaged the whole time so it never feels like it’s losing steam. I feel almost guilty for only paying $3 to rent it- could’ve been one of those $6.99 flicks and still not a waste! Wish I would’ve just bought it now….probably wait for it to drop $2 and do just that. This is a movie you worth putting in rotation- solid!!!!
  • Pretty good

Not as exciting as Jason Statham’s other movies but still a good movie.
  • Bad as Liver for Dinner

Big disappointment- way overdone on the revenge effort and makes Bronson in Death Wish look like Mother Theresa. Way too dark.
  • A bad Jason movie

Normally I like the movies Jason is in, but this has to be his worse movie yet. The previews looked good, but it’s a really bad movie. I took a long nap. I knew there wasn’t much of a plot, so I didn’t miss anything. If you really want to watch this movie, then stream it for free. I’m sure you will turn it off after an hour and not waste any money.
